"HIS Kids" is for . . .
my kids, your kids, your kids' kids, your kid's friends and classmates,
your neighbor's kids,
ALL KIDS ages 3 (by July 31st) thru 5th grade.
"His Kids" is a mid-week ministry especially designed to provide students training, increased self-esteem, and a sense of belonging through fellowship with other Christian children.
Children are divided into four groups:
Lambs: Age 3 (by July 31st), 4’s and 5’s
Lions: Kindergarten and 1st graders
Team 23: 2nd and 3rd graders
Club 45: 4th and 5th graders
Teams of teachers and shepherds lead the children through rotations of Bibletime, games, crafts, music and mission projects. The music component of the “HIS Kids” ministry is intended to support the learning that occurs within the theme of “HIS Kids.” In addition, the children sing occasionally during the Sunday worship services. Singing in worship is not a requirement for participation in “HIS Kids.”
“HIS Kids” meet on Wednesdays during the school year from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. No time to fix dinner? Bring the family to LUMC’s Wednesday Night Supper, available from 5:00 to 6:45 pm in our Family Life Center.
