Playgroup Mission Statement
The mission of the LUMC playgroup is to give caregivers and children an opportunity for Christian fellowship in a supportive and playful setting.
Events and Activities
Playgroup will meet from 9:30AM-11:30AM on second and fourth Fridays September through May. All caregivers with young children age Pre-K and under are invited to attend. All are welcome, including friends and neighbors. Please make sure to RSVP to events held away from the church on our Facebook page or at playgroup@lumcmo.org. There will be a sign in notebook with nametags for adults and children at events held at the church.
September 9: Playgroup Kick-off! Meet at LUMC. Bring a snack to share; drinks provided.
September 23: Apple picking at Alldredge Orchard, Platte City. Meet there at 9:30 AM
October 14: Visit a pumpkin patch. School age kids of playgroup members included.
October 28: Costume Party at LUMC. School age kids of playgroup members included.
November 11: Meet at LUMC playground or Family Life Center. Bring non-perishable food items for a donation to Hillcrest Ministries.
December 9: Christmas Party at LUMC. We will collect SOCKS, any size, for a donation to Della Lamb .
